At A History of Drinking, we are more than happy to review/feature beverage related products of any kind. We accept spirits, wine, beer, mixers, as well as non-alcoholic products such as soda, coffee,and tea. Because we may feature your product in recipes or video segments, we prefer to deal with standard, 750ml size bottles, but smaller samples are acceptable if standard size bottles are not available. We are also interested in any barware or drink-related equipment you may wish to promote.
We do not charge for our reviews or features and in order to remain impartial we will not accept any related financial compensation.
Products will be reviewed in the order they are received. If you are submitting anything of a time-sensitive nature, please let us know and we will do our very best to expedite your request.
What we can offer:
With A History of Drinking, you can get in at the ground level. Because we are an up-and-coming new media outlet, we can offer a closer level of attention than a more traditional source and allow you to form a positive brand image with our readers. We feature numerous recurring columns and are flexible enough to showcase your product in multiple formats: be it straight up review, inclusion in a featured recipe or video or even a company profile.
Our review formats can be as varied as the customers you are trying to reach: some will be a traditional review by one of our editors and/or contributors, while others will be done by a rotating panel of individuals with differing degrees of expertise in order to give insight into the average customer experience.
For best results (and if applicable), please include the following information:
- Average product pricing and availability information
- Links to any pertinent online content related to the product
- A quick note detailing any essential details, especially company/product history, relevant seasonal uses, holiday tie-ins
- Digital copies of images we can use in the post
We reserve the right to make edits where necessary, but will attempt to include all relevant information provided to us. You will however be given a pre-release copy of the story.
