And this is sort of a strange bar to love. But we love it anyway. And yes it is a hotel bar.
We admit it we love WXYZ Bar in the lobby of the aloft Hotel at Cascade Station. aloft, yes with the lowercase “a”, is an Ikea-looking hotel chain part of the Starwood organization. This chain location offers nice rooms, good amenities and even free loaner bicycles. Who could ask for more?
But there is more. WXYZ is a comfortable, also Ikea-looking, place to relax before and after your Portland adventure. The people are nice and being in Oregon there is plenty of local microbrews to sample. There is even a FREE pool table for entertainment.
