Yay today is President’s Day. Now let’s drink to a president. Or with.

TapHunter.com and Pintley.com – two forces to be reckoned with in the craft beer community – surveyed more than 3,000 craft beer fans across the US, asking: “Which American President would you most like to share a beer with?”

Guess who came in first?

By receiving nearly a quarter of all the votes, President Bill Clinton took first place (22.4%) – followed by:

  • ·         Barack Obama (15.5%)
  • ·         Abraham Lincoln (14.9%)
  • ·         George Washington (14.5%)
  • ·         JFK (10.2%)
  • ·         Ronald Regan (7.7%)
  • ·         George W. Bush (3.6%)

Back in August we celebrated some Clinton facts and accompanying drinks on The Meaning of “IS” day. They are soooo important let’s mention them again:

Slick Willy was hardly a teetotaler and his name has been attached to everything from the UK favorite “Snakebite” (the cider one, not the tequila one) to passing out in the carpeted bed of his El Camino after too many Pina Coladas, so here are a few less than tasteful nods to this era:
