Today we’re sending out birthday wishes to rapper and actor (among other pursuits) Tracey Marrow, better known as Ice-T! Born today in 1958 in Newark New Jersey, Marrow moved to Los Angeles after the death of his father. He originally gained fame as a founding member of the band “Body Count” and his controversial song “Cop Killer” (insert standard disclaimer here). Ice-T first acted in the 1984 film Breakin and it’s sequel Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo and went on to numerous other films and video game voice-overs. Since 2000, he has appeared in the NBC drama Law & Order: Special Victim Unit.
