We were saddened to hear of the sudden death of Randy “Macho Man” Savage this morning.
I (Rick) remember standing in line behind him while going through a TSA line at the Tampa Airport just a couple of years ago. I recognized that voice immediately. But we were wayyyy to nervous to approach him. A little bit afraid, as well.
So please enjoy these “fine” drinks in remembrance of Randy. RIP.
Randy Macho Man Savage Cocktail

- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1 1/2 oz Rum
- Coca Cola
Glass: Highball
Garnish: None
Build in an ice-filled Highball glass. Top with Coke. Sub out the coke for Rootbeer if you want to make a “Miss Elizabeth”. (Also an RIP to Miss Elizabeth, who passed away in 2003)
Slim Jim Shake
recipe adapted from food.com
- 4 sticks of Slim Jim/pieces beef jerky
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 2 tablespoons a- 1 steak sauce
Glass: Highball or footed milk shake glass
Garnish: Slim Jim
blend all ingredients pour into glass, garnish and “enjoy”.
