We just wrote an article asking everyone their favorite bars in Vegas. In that article we mentioned our infatuation with Bob Stupak.
So how could we not mention that today would have been Bob’s 69th birthday. Bob, unfortunately passed away in 2009. But he will always be missed by us here at A History of Drinking.

Bob’s nickname was “The Polish Maverick”, so we thought this drink would be appropriate:
The Maverick Cocktail
- 1 1/2 oz. Vodka (be sure to use a good Polish variety!)
- 1/2 oz. Amaretto
- 1/2 oz. Triple sec
- 2 tsp. Galliano
- 1 oz. Pineapple juice
Glass: Rocks
Garnish: None
Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
