I think the Modern Drunkard article detailed drinking in Trek the best: the original series as all about the hard-core alcohol, then the PC Next Generation comes along with it&#039;s synthehol nonsense.

A bunch of us were at the Star Trek experience in Vegas (where these come from) and were less than impressed. A very Applebees sort of menu. They pushed the &quot;Romulan Ale&quot; (blue or green colored PBR) a lot. The signature drinks were way more for the ooooh aaahh factor than for taste it seemed.</description>
