Need a hint of summer in the midst of cold and blustery winter weather? All hot and sweaty from shoveling snow and need to cool off? Well, oddly enough, March 22nd is National Margarita Day! Whether you take your margaritas up, on the rocks or by the pitcher-full ,we have recipes sure to please everyone’s tastes.
Late-Winter Blood Orange Margarita
One of our original creations, this margarita goes a bit out side “the margarita glass” and has a decidedly wintry slant.
- 2 parts Casa Noble Tequila
- 1 part Fresh-squeezed Blood Orange Juice
- 1 part Cointreau
- 1/2 part Fresh-squeezed Lime Juice
- 3 dashes Fee Brothers Cardamom Bitters
Garnish: Salted or sugared rim
Mix ingredients well and pour over ice. Combine salt and sugar with a dash of lime juice for the rim of the glass

This recipe yields 5 servings
- 1 1/2 oz Tequila Don Julio Blanco
- 1 2/3 oz Grand Marnier
- 3 1/3 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz Agave Syrup
- 1 Sliced Jalapeño
- Splash of Orange Bitters
Muddle jalapeño in a cocktail shaker with agave syrup. Add Tequila Don Julio Blanco, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice, orange bitters and ice into a shaker. Shake well. Strain contents into a pitcher over ice so that guests may serve themselves. Serve in a rocks glass.

- 1 part Lime Juice
- 1 part Simple Syrup
- 1 part Triple Sec
Garnish: Dash of Fresh Lime Juice. Salt and Sugar
